Jim (James W.) Beran, RICP® has been serving individuals and families in the insurance and financial services industry since 2006. Beginning his career as a banker, he later transitioned into financial services, where he developed a strong focus on helping clients prepare for and navigate retirement.
As an Investment Adviser Representative, Jim specializes in retirement income planning, Social Security optimization, and tax-efficient wealth distribution strategies. He works closely with clients to develop personalized financial plans designed to support long-term financial security and confidence throughout retirement.
Jim holds the Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®) designation from The American College of Financial Services, reflecting advanced training in sustainable retirement income strategies, healthcare considerations, and distribution planning.
In addition to his advisory role, Jim is the founder of Beran Insurance Agency, where he assists clients with Medicare and long-term care planning. This integrated approach allows him to address both the financial and healthcare aspects of retirement.
Jim resides in La Grange Park, Illinois, with his wife, Peggy. They enjoy spending time with their sons, Zach and Matthew, and their dog, Cinder. Outside of work, Jim enjoys fishing, cooking, attending sporting events, and traveling with his family.
