Growing up, I always thought I might become a teacher or a professor since education was very important to me. While the financial world has always been intriguing to me, it never occurred to me that I could be an educator in this profession. I decided to explore a world that I have been involved in at varying capacities for over 20 years. My mother would always comment that as a child I was very good at putting puzzles together. That is how I look at Financial Planning, everyone's financial situation is like a puzzle, let me help you put it together properly. One of my favorite movies is The Pursuit of Happiness with Will Smith and how it portrays the perseverance of Chris Gardner as he attempts to become a Broker for Dean Witter and later forming his own Brokerage Firm. Although my Bachelors of the Arts Degree is in History from Shawnee State University, I feel that it helped prepare me for my career in terms of storytelling and documentation. My inspiration is found in my wife of 23 years and my 5 children.
