I was born and raised in a small Virginia town on the border with North Carolina. I started working as a young child in the family business, a cemetery, as well as on my neighbor's tobacco farm. Whenever I am asked about my first job, I love to see one's reaction to "Grave Digger...at 8 yrs old",( though it was actually a lot more of cutting grass and weeding flowerbeds). Now, I live in the Richmond, VA area with my wife Angela, our young daughter, a lively Goldendoodle and 2 weird cats as well as my 2 adult children and 5 grandkids. Those family values of a strong work ethic and caring for others focuses my commitment to helping and serving through my planning practice.
